The perfect match for today’s sleek, modern kitchen, this pail is also extremely practical. Stainless steel won’t take on the odors or colors of onions, garlic and other pungent food scraps. It easily rinses clean and is dishwasher-safe, too.

This is a great product. We've had ours for years and it still looks new and nice on our counter. My son-in-law asked for one for Christmas this year!

Comments about Brushed Stainless Steel Compost Pail:
I started composting last year, but needed something in my kitchen that wouldn't retain the odors. Finally bought this classy little bucket and am wishing I'd bought it early last year! Easy to use & clean, holds a LOT, no smells escape it and it takes up less space on my counter than the old "ice cream bucket" did.

Comments about Brushed Stainless Steel Compost Pail:
This is my second pail from Gardener's Supply. The first one did not have the weight and quality of this new one and it developed a crack in the bucket rim after about six months of purchase that continued to get larger. Because it was over one year before I called about it, the pail could not be replaced free of charge, but a prorated credit was given by Gardener's Supply. And I appreciated that. Thank you.

Comments about Brushed Stainless Steel Compost Pail:
Use at kitchen sink for veg & fruit scraps. When full, carry to compost pile, empty, rinse and it's ready to be filled again. Cleans easily, good size, cover prevents odor release.

Comments about Brushed Stainless Steel Compost Pail:
We use this pail in the kitchen & since we don't have a lot of cabinet space, it sits on the floor by the back door. It looks great, is easy to empty into our compost pile & cleans easily. I just wish it was slightly larger.

Comments about Brushed Stainless Steel Compost Pail:
I have had one of these for a few years for kitchen scraps and coffee grounds that I feed to the worm bin. I needed another (we drink a lot of coffee) and found a very nice hammered copper pail that pitted and leaked within six months. Stainless is the way to go. This one has no carbon filter but there is no smell unless opened which would be the same if it had a filter. So, no filter is a plus.
