If you are buying this for the blue color, don't bother. The blue doesn't last more than a few weeks. Still works as a solar light, but disappointed that it is only clear.

Stakes must be supported( I used small stones with mulch cover. Blue moon globe faded after 2 days. Solar panel does not work. I kept it because it goes with moon and star bell chimes

I really like it but was disappointed that the battery supplied was dead. I had one the same so replaced the bad one. Perhaps the light had been sitting too long in your stock room. Next, I was surprised to find the globe's blue coloring fading away within 3-4 days sitting out in sun! It won't be as attractive when the
color's completely gone.

I really like this product bought 2 for my sister for her birthday, I have 4. My only complaint is that the blue glass ball doesn't stay blue very long, fades fast. Some people say it is blue at night, but my 4 the glass balls are all white from the sun. Otherwise they are great.

Flimsy stakes, I support them with rocks under mulch. Solar panel doesn't work. The globe faded by second day so my "blue" moon is now white. Does look cute with my moon and stars chimes which is the only reason I didn't return it.

The Quality Control 'passed' sticker was used to cover spot on glass globe where the blue paint was missing on the inside surface of the globe. NICE touch. Followed instructions and it does NOT work. Reread instructions and still did not work. Each trial after full day's full sunshine. I shouldn't have to drag out multitester to check battery, but will do so to be thorough, but, then again, why should I have to buy a battery? Also, item is on stake and panel design like the 'northern lights' oscillating color globes offered here; NOT as pictured. I prefer the adjustable/aimable possibility of it as pictured. That design works well in an older item like this that I have. Avoid this item!

We will never again buy a yard product from Gardener's. The hummingbird weather vane blew apart last year. This "blue" moon color washed off with the first rain. Very "cheaply" made products.
