Comments about Lashing Cord:
I lashed too pieces of bamboo fencing together and to steel poles around a small garden area. The next day we had a 35 mile an hour wind and the entire fence broke apart and was laying on the ground.

Comments about Lashing Cord:
I would never describe this as "flexible cord"; it is thin & skimpy and I am not sure it will hold the bamboo fence in place for more than a month. Certainly too expensive for the quality and I wish I had just used thin plastic rope available everywhere. Now what do I do with the unused 99% left on the roll?

Comments about Lashing Cord:
I first used this product 13 years ago to secure bird feeder poles to my metal fence. Those original ties are still securing the bird feeder poles. It is very weather proof and the ties remain secure and do NOT loosen over time. I've tried many other tying products and there is nothing like this. It is expensive but, well worth every penny for securing tiki torches, metal poles, and of course bamboo poles. I store it in a zip-lock bag in my kitchen drawer.

Comments about Lashing Cord:
Unlike most of the reviews of this product that customers have written, there is absolutely nothing I like about this lashing cord. There was no visible "starting" point of where to begin unwinding it because it's just one sticky, tacky wad of something or other attached to a spool. I took some tiny scissors and gently poked at a spot to get some unwinding going. The result was nothing more than a shredding of what appears to be a very thin, gooey substance. Perhaps what I received was at one time a decent lashing cord, but then it morphed into a gummy mess without a visible end by the time it arrived at my house. In any case, I have nothing good to report about this cord and I tossed it into the trash.

- Bamboo fences trellises
Comments about Lashing Cord:
Provides an attractive and secure way to tie bamboo; great for making fences and trellises. the waxy coating helps keep it tight. It would be neat to have thicker gauges for heavier projects. Also, it's kind of pricey, but a roll lasts a while.

- Lashing plants upright
Comments about Lashing Cord:
I use the waxed twine continually, running the twine through plants, tying the twine between fencing to create invisible grids so there is no flopping.

Comments about Lashing Cord:
I had been looking for a durable bamboo lashing as regular twine line deteriorates very quickly. This product is perfect and the price is very reasonable. I was surprised by the ease of use.

Comments about Lashing Cord:
I use the cord for many purposes, not just for fencing but mostly for tying my large plants to thin wooden supports. This cord does not cut into the stalk of plants, tropicals or veggies. I also use to tie my grape vines to fencing/supports.
