Durable metal and great design, I bought these recently to go with the G.S. scarecrow when they were both on sale -- a great buy. Can't wait to use both this fall and Halloween. I buy these unique items from Gardeners Supply, rather than elsewhere, because they hold up year after year. I can always count on their quality.

Living in the Southwest, crows are a common sight here and are depicted by many artists and craftsmen in their work. I was excited when I saw these on sale and purchased them thinking that they would look great atop my coyote fence. I was absolutely SHOCKED at the shoddy quality of these items! These are nothing more than cheap imports, much like the decorations you find in your local crafts store around Halloween. Lightweight painted tin attached to two coat-hanger weight metal rods, these wouldn't withstand a stiff breeze, let alone a strong New Mexican windstorm. Oh, and they're not even the size of actual crows...more like baby crows! I'll be sending these back this week. Sadly, this is the first item I've ever bought from Gardener's Supply!

As a Master Gardener I try to stay away from "big box" stores. Gardener's Supply is an amazingly happy little company. Awesome to deal with. The rub. Quality. I would rather pay more and have a product look nicer and last longer. The crows are inferior. Sorry! If they were made of heavy iron and rusted with the weather, they would be awesome as a fall decoration. Typical [*] garbage imported for American consumers. Sorry again!
