This was great fun to hang ... the birds had a great time watching us figure out how to hang it so the squirrels and raccoons couldn't get to it!!

This year I ordered early to make sure that they were still in stock.

The birdseed log cabin was cute, when we first looked at it, but not very sturdy. When the provided seeds were put in the "chimney" they fell out on the ground. Everytime the wind blows, the little house is off center and crooked. After a couple of days it looked really sad.

I usually like your things and was certainly disappointed with this little cabin.

arrived at my house with a huge amount of seeds off the house and loose in the package. It really needs lots of bubble wrap to make it through the mail.

I hung this on a pole protected by a squirrel baffle so it was squirrel proof. Nuthatches, chickadees, finches & woodpeckers ate sunflower seeds from the chimney, but ignored the millet roof. Therefore it took up valuable protected space for feeding birds, but was underutilized. It does, however, make a charming lawn ornament in winter and I view it as such rather than a bird feeder.

I was so disappointed with this birdfeeder. it looked so nice in the picture. I was so excited about giving this to my brother and when he opened it we both looked at it with shock. He said is it a loaf of bread? I was embarrassed and disappointed.

I put this out where flocks of birds come to feed. Non of the birds fed on this. Some used it as a perch to reach other feeders, but not many. It has been in the same place for a month now and has gotten no attention from the many kinds of birds that come to my feeders. Very diappointed.

The Birdseed log cabin was a gift to my In-laws. They really are enjoying watching the birds eat the bird seed outside their kitchen window.

One of the millet stalks came off in shipment - I just glued it back on with some wood glue and it was good as gold. The birds love it and I love it that you can just replenish the birdseed and keep enjoying the birds.
