I only used it once because it was getting to be the end of fall, but it seemed like it made the birdbath cleaner. That's why I gave it 3 stars. I'll use it again in the spring after I wash my birdbath first.

These are working. I have a concrete fountain bowl that I use as a birdbath and these are doing a great job of keeping it free of algae. When I got some, it was because I forgot to change it in very high heat humidity days and even then it cleaned more easily. Will buy these again.

I use the cleaners in my birdbaths, even the aerated ones. It seems to work quite well. I just keep losing them, hence the 'disappear' mention above. Don't know if the birds take them away or some other TX critter. But, oddly, they are there for a couple days and then Gone. Perhaps my very energetic birdbath caretaker hoses them out, but I never find them on the ground. Perhaps I should weight them down. Any suggestions?

The birdbath is a much pleasanter site and I suspect the robins appreciate it also!

I have changed product monthly as recommended but does nothing to inhibit green slime. Still need to drain and scrub birdbath with cleaner. Not worth the money.

I use this product to control algae in a birdbath that gets lots of sun.

I've had the product in my small water feature for 3 weeks and it still has algae. I cleaned the pond, replaced the enzyme pack, still nothing. Not sure why this is happening.

Put in my bird baths to keep them pristine, and they do a good job.

This is the first product from Gardner's Supply that does not seem to work. I put it in a stone bird bath that had just been cleaned and algae grows if birdbath is not flushed daily.

I put one of the squares in a clean birdbath. I have no idea if it is or should prevent mosquito larvae from growing in the water, but it certainly does nothing to prevent the growth of algae. In fact, the square itself became covered with algae.
