Comments about Bird Netting:
i did not use the netting for it's intended purpose but it worked perfectly. I needed something to put around my arbor posts so that my Clematis could grow up them. We cut the mesh and then stapled strips on the posts. Now my Clematis has something to cling to and it is flourishing.
I was so pleased that I recommended it to a friend and she has already purchased some.

Comments about Bird Netting:
I used this to cover my strawberry plants-- I rigged it over wire hoops, also from Gardener's. I went away for the weekend-- just 48 hours-- and found three beautiful lizards strangled/dead in the mesh when I got back. This is just over a 6x3 area. Don't use this on the ground!

I don't use this netting for birds, but to repel rats, lizards, and squirrels. But for the purpose of repelling the above mentioned creatures it works fine. It is a hassle when harvesting the tomatoes however.

Comments about Bird Netting:
I used this over my 2 year old blueberry plants and got more berries than the birds, yay! I didn't use supports though so when harvest was done it was real messy and had to pick leaves and stuff from the netting. I'll try the supports for next season.
Pros
- Reduces Number Of Pests
Cons
- You Need Two People
Best Uses
- Yard
Comments about Bird Netting:
It is a very good product, but you really need 2 people to get it properly covering the plant. It can tangle you up if you are not careful walking around it. But all in all it does what it is susposed to do and that is keep the pests away from your vegetables or fruits.
