Comments about Biodegradable Weed Mat:
Very effective for grass and weed control between raised beds. I use it as underlayment for burlap for addded durability. Also provides great area for vining vegatables preventing rot. Surprisingly durable. Just wish it came in multiple widths.

Comments about Biodegradable Weed Mat:
I bought this for my father, both to help make gardening easier for him and quietly trying to help him make his garden more organic in the process. He loves it, and is thrilled that he'll be able to till the remnants right under this fall. His plants were too well established to cut holes as the picture shows, so he had to improvise. But he has been talking it up to family and friends. We'll definitely buy it earlier next year.

Comments about Biodegradable Weed Mat:
Excellent product for edging around a grove of trees. Aid water retention with new plantings; practically invisible underneath mulch.

Comments about Biodegradable Weed Mat:
This is a large roll of paper. I used it to keep the weeds from getting started in some raised beds. I cut a few extra holes to help let the water under the paper and cut larger holes around the plants to ensure water got to the plants. I used a few rocks or stakes to help hold down the paper around the edges of the raised beds.

Comments about Biodegradable Weed Mat:
I had alot of trouble with this material tearing. I used the garden staples but the material kept lifting up and tearing. I had to keep adding staples to it just to keep it down. I also thought this material would be heavier.

Just roll it out, cut the hole and plant. Cover with mulch or grass clippings to hold down.

Comments about Biodegradable Weed Mat:
Loved using this paper knowing that we can turn it into the soil later. Needed to pin it down to keep it in place but is holding up well!
