Comments about Biodegradable Netting:
This is the best netting out there but, I am not convinced that it would desolve into compost. It is very thick, sturdy, and strong. It is so superior to most of the usual white plastic garbage you can buy at hardware stores. And, since it is thick, fuzzy and soft, it will not cut into your plants like plastic line. I would bet that you could wash it and reuse it but, it comes in a rather large width and this could prove to be a little difficult without tangling it. Great product.

Comments about Biodegradable Netting:
I have limited garden space so I grow as many veggies vertically as I can. This wonderful twine has become an essential tool for me. The plants love clinging to the rough texture, I love the natural look, and the best part is that at the end of the season, I just cut the twine from the support and throw it and the vines directly into the compost.
It is sort of a pest to attach the twine to my support frames, but no more difficult than attaching any of the plastic alternatives. One order is enough for all my frames for two years -- it goes a long way.

Comments about Biodegradable Netting:
The netting that you will receive is not the netting you see in the product photograph! I didn't read the customer reviews before I purchased this item and I should have! Nearly everyone comments what I experienced: it takes too much time to try to find an end to the trellis (there isn't one!) and then you will find the trellis is not made of horizontal and vertical lines, rather diamond shapes which are impossible to use as a trellis. The biodegradeable aspect of this product is a good idea, but it was not manufactured properly. I hope someone tries to make this product again. Gardener's Supply did refund me for this product, but I still spent too much because of their expensive shipping fees.

Comments about Biodegradable Netting:
Used this product this year for the first time. It was difficult to put up but once it was up it worked well for the first 3 months, however now it is biograding and I still have plants that need support. Will not use this product again.

Comments about Biodegradable Netting:
We've used this netting, attached to a pipe support in raised beds, to support half-runner beans. They're just getting started on their climb and all appears to be well. Looking forward to picking in an "upright' position.

Comments about Biodegradable Netting:
We are on year 2 of a school garden to provide growing ideas and garden experience for our school district. We are using this netting to grow beans and gourds around the site including gourds up the East and West side of our little tool shed. A couple of hooks on the shed and edge of raised bed and the netting went right up!
