      Comments about BioBags™:

I use the bags to line a counter top composter and to transfer to outside composted. I have used 7 bags so far and they have all torn. It does not seem worth it to line the composter when I have to clean it every time anyway. In fact this is exactly what the bags were supposed to prevent:

"No more scrubbing, no more odor, no need to carry the pail out to the compost pile."

      Fail.

      Not worth the money

        Comments about BioBags™:

Bio-bags are a little more convient but they do leak if punctured by something sharp like an egg shell. Would be just as easy to dump it from the plastic bucket and rinse it with a little water and put that right into the composter if more water would be needed which mine seems to need probably because of the leaves in there.

        No evidence of decomposing

            Comments about BioBags™:

I began using the bags late last summer. I turn and airate my 3-3'x3'x3' compost piles every 2 months +,-. The piles were hot suggesting a correct mix of brown & green. I have not counted the pitch forked bags but there are a sufficient number to suggest that they are all there and are showing no signs of break down. I now just dump the back and put them in the recycle bin which I can cost effectively do with the plastic grocery bags I get.

              Comments about BioBags™:

The current BioBags are gallon size and are too large for the Gardener Supply kitchen compost container. It's wasteful to cut them to size and discard the cylindrical top- and its takes valuable time.

                  Comments about BioBags™:

I use these in a crock countertop composter. They work pretty well if you don't put a lot of wet stuff in as they will leak through. I started using these this spring and have started dumping contents of the filled bags into the compost pile. I am "composting" the bags in a different pile that I am not in a hurry for, since I dont know how long they take to decompose.
