I use these when I'm doing woodworking, gardening and mowing the lawn. They make it easy to read instructions on building plans or chemicals and make it easier to find small nails or screws that get dropped while working. They also come in handy for seeing splinters I get while doing woodworking. I also like wearing them while using a string trimmer as they protect my eyes and I can see to read the starting instructions if I need to. The only drawback is that the plastic has a charge that attracts dust which also mixes with sweat. This is a big problem when mixing cement.
