I have it in my living room and when you walk past it, it gives off a wonderful scent... not artificial and too strong like reed diffusers. In winter it reminds me of spring, especially when my garden is looking pretty bleak.

I have all types of diffusers, unlike the ones with the sticks, this one does not collect dust or overpower the room with perfume. It requires a few drops of oil and continues to deliver a fresh aroma and attractive in the design and color.

was so excited to get this for my sister, as she adores lilac fragrance. it was very cute, but the fragrance didn't come thru. not sure if you have to use a lot more oil, or if it just didn't work. really great idea, though

This little diffuser is very pretty and works by the scented oil inside gradually diffusing through the unglazed bottom. Whether you can detect the scent all depends on the oil, however. It comes with lilac oil, which is nice, but Gardener's also sells a variety of other scents. I've tried lavander, rose and gardenia. Of all the ones I've tried, lavander is the only one that I can actually smell in the room. Even when you put the diffuser right up to your face it is hard to detect either the rose or gardenia. As long as you stick to lavander or lilac, this is a much nicer alternative to plasticy glade type air fresheners.

The difusser adds a lovely low key fragrance to any room/space. I like that it's doesn't over power you. Unlike commerical type air fresheners, etc. I used essential oils from a differenct source (not Gardener's).
Just the right amount of lovely fragrance -- makes a nice gift.

This pretty ceramic piece does work, but it doesn't effuse enough scent to scent an entire room by itself. In conjunction with an oil heating piece, it can be part of a multi-unit strategy.

I have your lavender essential oil in my diffuser and I love it. Just enough frangrance comes out to notice it but not too strong of a smell.
I leave it out all the time. The aroma is very subtle, but very nice. My husband doesn't like candles and this works great.
