In my part of the country growing anything can be hard. This starter kit produced seedlings in good time and it doesn't take up much space, it fit nicely in my window sill.
Set up is easy and maintenace in minimal.

For what you get, these were a bit pricey. I found the others on this site to be a bit more reliable. Having said all of that, they worked and did what they were supposed to do. Overall, I would be something from Gardeners in this genre again. I just found that for my needs, I liked the larger trays better.
However, this size/shape works well in the trays and is easy to work with in terms of weight and so on. I still have mine from last year and will use it again.

I found this product very easy to use and had better success with it than the previous seedstarting kit I had used. I really like the wicking watering system as watering seedlings is hard for me to get right. I also like how everything is self-contained, so once you get the seeds planted, there is no mess or spills.
So far I have started broccoli and snapdragons with success. The only failure I had was with some onions, although I suspect they may have needed more time than was specified.

The seedstarting kit is great with a few exceptions. The APS kit contains two flats made of styrofoam - if you're not too careful, these styrofoam flats will break. The provided soil was excellent and provided more than enough for the given two flats.

This is the first time I've tried starting plants from seeds. The directions for the starter set are very clear and it is easy to assemble. The plants come up so fast I already have to transplant to larger containers.
