Safer than a wax candle, more convenient than a plug-in light, this battery-powered candle has a photo-sensor that turns it on at dusk and off at dawn. The energy-efficient LED bulb never needs replacing, and runs all season on just two batteries. Includes steady-burning and "flicker" options, with a windowsill mounting clip, and in your choice of two finishes.

So nice not to have electric cords running all over the rooms and the automatic on and off feature is great.

Comments about Battery-Operated Candle:
While I have always loved the 'candle in the window' look during winter, our house is 50yrs old, lacks outlets for candles. These *are* orangish, and much dimmer than incandescent electric candles, once you get accustomed to it, it's a nice difference. And the LEDs run cool, so my sisal blinds aren't at risk when down, each room gets a little nightlight effect overnight with no electric bill to match. We bought 12 - expensive, but I hope to use these for years!

I use these during the holidays to light up the windows. Bought more for the barn during the holidays also. There just so easy to use and store. I always wait for the sale to buy them though.

Comments about Battery-Operated Candle:
I purchased four candle lights a Christmas present for my wife she was very happy with them. We put then on the window sills on Christmas day, and they came on every night, ran about 15 hr. a night, and were still burning bright when we took them down 20 days later. I was surprised the batteries lasted that long. We had many good comments from guests on the candles. I gave one person your catalog she was going to order some.

Comments about Battery-Operated Candle:
Difficult to find a suitable Christmas candle for our living room windows. Our window ledges are narrow. This one's narrow, rectangular base fit perfectly. No cords to worry about. This is a great candle!

Comments about Battery-Operated Candle:
It is a lovely product to look at and I thought I would love them since the saleman said he had them and loved them...however I was extremely disappointed on the level of light it produced. You can barely see the "lit" candle. Would not recommend.

Comments about Battery-Operated Candle:
I love that these lights turn on and off on their own with the photocell - I don't have to be home. Also appreciate the horizontal direction of the base, as I have narrow sills. I will be using my two lamps as seasonal items only.
