I bought several of these candles from Garden Supply about 3 years ago and have really liked them; they get a bit pricey if you buy several so I jumped to order more this year when I saw they were on sale. Unfortunately, the yellow bulb color has been replaced by a "more modern" sickly white color - quite disappointing when picture depicts yellow bulbs and product description does not note color change. Interestingly, cheaper single candles description mentions new color. Additionally, it will likely cost me $20 + to send order back - does not give me great incentive to order products in future when paying upwards of $30 for total shipping and handling costs.

I bought these a few years ago for my parents and myself. Love them, love them, love them. I ordered 6 extra sets for other areas in the house. The new ones now have a harsh white light that cannot be interchanged with the older sets. We will keep them, but we sure miss that nice golden glow. Please bring it back. The internet picture depicts a golden bulb and neither the catalog nor the internet writeup say anything about the change to white.

I use them year round in my 2 large front windows and the single ones in my back and side windows. They illuminate well enough at night to keep on for night lighting. Not having to use a cord is a plus and keeping the setting from dusk to dawn is a wonderful feature.

I like the look. Could not find a batteryoperated light for a spot in my great room that has no plug near by. Had trouble getting it to stay on when in the upright position. It would only go on when on its side. It is working now and I am happy with it. It was a gift from my daughter for Christmas.

Ordered these in the past. New product now has led bulbs described as a warm light. However, I belive a candle flame should be yellow not bright flourescent like. I stuck them in little used rooms opposite street side. Haven't checked yet to see if I can replace led bulbs with something else.
