| Pond Size | We recommend: |
| 10-700 gallons | 1 Barley Pad |
| 220-2,200 gallons | 1 Barley Ball |
| 2,245-4,488 gallons | 2 Barley Balls |
| 4,489-6,752 gallons | 3 Barley Balls |
| To calculate gallons: Length (in feet) x width x average depth x 7.5 = gallons | |
Barley Pads have the clarifying power of our Barley Balls, but they are sized for water gardens as small as 10 gallons. This is a single Pad with a Flotation Frame; additional Barley Pads are available for refills. Each pad requires a Flotation Frame.

Comments about Barley Pad with Flotation Frame:
I used this product in my small garden pond and bird bath. Worked very well at keeping the water from growing green, and keeping the water clean.
Just need to remember to put new one in once a
month.

pleased to say that use did not deter the frequent visits by birds. Seems to be doing a good job of keeping water clear.

Comments about Barley Pad with Flotation Frame:
My fountain was full of algae, this product did not clear all of the algae, but it started the process of clearing a significant amount of algae.

Comments about Barley Pad with Flotation Frame:
I bought this to hold barley pads and to aid in flotation of them. It's not a perfect solution as the pads still sink (just not as soon) and they are easier to fish out of the pool.

Comments about Barley Pad with Flotation Frame:
This product was easy to install AND plant friendly. Clear water within 5 days. Amazing!
Still clear water after 3weeks. No cloudy green
water as in the pass with previous product.
No removal of plants or waiting for
product to dissolve as before.

Comments about Barley Pad with Flotation Frame:
My pond is not deep enough for pad to float. It now lays on the bottom of the pond but seems to have killed the active algae. I use a pool skimmer to scoup out the dead algae. The water is very clear and my dog drinks out of pond so am glad to have a safe product.

Comments about Barley Pad with Flotation Frame:
I haven't seen any improvement in the algae in my my ponmd/fountain (<500gal), in fact its gotten worse. Maybe I'll try it again next year, but earlier in the season, since that is how many comments mentioned using the product.
