I fell in love with bamboo towels over a year ago when I started small by buying a bamboo wash cloth at another retailer. I absolutely fell in love with that wash cloth and finally decided to get a bamboo towel from Gardners Supply to try. I have very hard water and usually it makes my wash cloths and towels become "hard" after just one use...not with bamboo. The towel is very soft and luxurious and I love it. The only negative thing I can think of is that they take a bit longer to dry in the dryer than the towels that I've been using for 20+ years. I love my towels of 20+ years obviously, but I think I'm ready to retire them and go with the bamboo set.

Gave this as a gift to my mother. Unfortunately I guessed wrong on the color, but she didn't mind. She said it was a lovely surprise to use such a soft and luxurious towel, that it felt wonderful. Although I didn't get to check these out for myself, I know my mother usually has soft and thick towels, so the ones I sent must have topped hers, to stand out so dramatically.

These are by far the softest towels I have ever used. The verdict is still out on whether they are truly absorbent. They're so soft they practically glide off your skin - but that said - the water seems to go along with it. I got white assuming I could bleach them, but you cannot use chlorine bleach on these. I'm still thinking the waffle weave towels are better water absorbers, but they aren't nearly as soft and cushy as these.
