Smart gardeners know bamboo is strong, lightweight, inexpensive, weathers well and lasts several seasons in the garden. With a few simple tools bamboo poles can be fashioned into fences, frames, arbors, trellises – any structure you can imagine.
#2 Bamboo (3' tall x approx. 3/8" diameter). Use as plant stakes and markers, or as supports for row covers and potted plants.
#4 Bamboo (5'10" tall x approx. 3/4" diameter). An all-purpose size, good for bean tepees and A-frames, trellises, pea fences, and as rails in decorative fencing.
#6 Bamboo (7' tall x approx. 3/4" diameter). Similar to #4, but taller, for larger plant supports, longer rails, and privacy fences ($10 additional shipping).
#8 Bamboo (5'10" tall x approx. 1" to 1-1/2" diameter). These stout poles make a bold decorative statement, and are strong enough to use as fence posts, arches or garden gates.

Bamboo was shipped without proper protection for the ends; as a result all the ends were split, splintered or cracked. They will have to be trmmed.

I use this produce to strengthen a twig fence that the strong winds of the last two years have ripped to shreds. With the bamboo, the fence stands strong and looks beautiful. I also use it for pea fences, bean poles and for climbers in pots. Excellent.

i bought these to use along with a mesh trellis for both peas and pole beans. i'm excited to try them out once spring comes. i purchased connectors to help me connect them more easily and sturdily, but am unsure how well they will work. as its january and the ground is frozen and covered in snow, i cant actually try them out yet.

The quality of the bamboo stakes exceeded what I had anticipated. I had bought bamboo stakes back in the North East but they were flimsy and broke easily. I was forced to use the plastic coated metal stakes. Shipping was done in durable packaging and all of the product was intact with no pieces missing or holes in the packaging material.

These Bamboo Stakes are great to use in the garden. I prefer to use them in my Earth Boxes for tomatoes and Pepper plants instead the the string. Very sturdy and can be used year after year.

Am experimenting with an all container veggie garden and am using these poles along with netting to "raise" vines such as cucumber, squash, peas, pole beans, etc. to grow upwards and as supports for tomatoes. We didn't want to lose our lawn area but wanted plenty of fresh veggies. Am also growing a variety of dwarf, hardy, fruit trees and use these poles to give the trees support in their first few years. The poles are actually sturdier than anticipated as well as attractive so am extremely pleased with this product!!
