Good, heavy bamboo and vines add to stability; hold up my tall lilies better than ring stakes. Do find that the vines are wrapped too low on the stake and bunch up if driven into harder soil.

These are both ornamental and strong enough to support a 5'-tall castor bean plant--I only wish they came in a longer length! The thin willow strips twined around the central bamboo pole do help hold plant ties in place. I've had many compliments on these stakes and am ordering more.
