The windowboxes fit my railing snugly and the color is beautiful - several neighbors have commented on their attractiveness. They are sturdy and I'm certain that they would weather strong storms with no problems.

Very pretty purple planters. Assembly was easy even though I did put the water gauge in wrong - but that was my fault - did not read directions until later. I do wish it had some sort of overflow feature to get rid of excess water - as it is, I have to move them when I'm expecting heavy rain and they get quite heavy when they're full of water.

I really like it, but it does not fit over my railing. the other planters for railings (wooden) are too large. I was so excited to see this one, but it is too narrow to hang over the top rail. I will be returning this one.
The black would be a perfect color for folk with black railing -- only the plants would be shown off.
