I bought a greenhouse from GS ten years ago and have needed replacement window openers for several years. This is a perfect replacement. I now just need to buy the thermo-piston parts for my other windows.

The cylinder must be removed in areas with cold winters, or it becomes inoperable. Unfortunately I neglected to do this, all the cylinders failed, and now I'm looking to replace them. Otherwise these are very handy on the greenhouse to regulate the temp without having to be around.

I couldn't believe that it really works. I don't know how it actually opens the lid of the cold frame but it does. The lid is a little heavy also, so I was really surprised.It's easy to use and set up.
