I am using this conjunction with the tomatoe tree set up. The weather here has been in the 90's for the last several weeks. With this drip kit I don't have to worry about the baskets being dryed out by the time I get home. Really takes the worry out of watering. A must item if you are into container gardening, it makes it hassle free.
Easy set up,(make sure you let the tubeing in the sun before you start, makes it really easy to work with)timer easy to use and adjust.

Started to set up for my container garden, and the water leaked all over the place when I attached it to the faucet. It leaked both at the area where it attaches to the faucet, and also below the faucet.

Every year I buy 6 large hanging pots of flowers for my front porch. Every year they are dead or worse- half dead- before the end of July because I forget to water them every day. This gadget was pretty easy to set up. I mounted it first over the planters and then cut the line where I needed to insert the drip hose. My garden hose has no problem getting water to the basket at the end of the line, even though there is a 9 foot rise and a 25 foot horizontal run of the 1/4" tubing that comes with the unit. If you have a gazillion plants and run out of tubing I suspect fish-tank tubing would work fine as a substitute. Anyway, it's been about a month now and my plants look great!! I should have done this years ago.

This system worked very well for about two years, but then the timer failed. I found a new timer of a different brand and the system is now back in operation.

I really liked the timer on this product. To set your watering schedule for your outside plant and container vegetables is just great. I had quite a bit of difficulty putting the t-bar, sprinkler heads into the 1/4 inch tube as it fits very tight. It took me about 3 days to put together, not because it is difficult to understand but you need a lot of strength in your hands. Now that it is set up, I love it.

Had several units and all died or became unreliable within one season sticking both on and closed. I would pay for quality and forgo the cheap priced units.

worked fine, but for an expensive item - to have the knobs break within two weeks was pretty hard to swallow.....

allows for various configurations of pots and areas to be watered. A bit complicated to set up the first time.

I used this product to water my many Bonsai trees when I am away and it is a lifesaver! The product came with enough dripper tips to cover all my pots (14) and the gentle drips are perfect for bonsai. Very easy to use, and set up as long as you take your time and plan how many drip tips you will need.
