Two years ago I purchased 3 AquaSav liners for my South facing deck. Even with moisture conserving soil it was a water-2-times-a-day.
The AquaSav liners allowed for once a day watering even on the hottest days. Naturally, my hanging planters looked nice all summer-even into the fall.
Wish that rather than a disc they were more like a tray--for even more "aqua-saving"!
FYI: I ordered replacements this spring.

I used this product in my hanging baskets and did not have to water as often.I even overwintered my spike,left plant in the hanging basket,stored it in my unheated garage watering on occasion. The spike will be planted in a large pot; it is now too big for the hanging basket.

I use the 18" size of aquasav Liners to make a statement in my back yard. I have a small back yard so I have to plant veritically. These Liners hold the water longer in the Texas heat. I am able to grow more flowers in a small area.

These liners are attractive and hold moisture well. However, when filled with soil they are too short to reach to the basket edges, and the sides bulge out. I am going to try and patch them with cut-out portions from some other liners. This year I have ordered liners that are for the next size up, in hopes of preventing the above problems. This "too little" problem is why I gave them only an average rating; otherwise, they are fine.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
