Comments about AquaCone® Watering Devices:
I was concerned when reading some reviews about the bottles being top heavy and the cones leaking, but I had no such problems. Can't see why a few others did. The bottles fit perfectly in the cone and the water distributed nicely. I punched out more holes since I wanted the water to disburse more quickly to my tomato plants, and it did. I can see this taking alot of the watering burden off of me.

Comments about AquaCone® Watering Devices:
I am using AquaCones to provide root-level watering in certain areas of my vegetable garden not covered by my soaker hoses. I have somewhat loamy clay soil. The cones are working well with two-liter bottles attached, and have remained stable. The only inconvenience was finding the bottles, as I don't have them in my household.
Pros
- Good idea

Comments about AquaCone® Watering Devices:
Loved it the first one I used. Decided to refill it and go ahead an use the others in the set. I am finding that these are very inconsistent. Water level in my bottles have not changed in 2 weeks, so the plants are not getting watered and I don't know why.

Comments about AquaCone® Watering Devices:
I use the aqua cones on soda bottles. There is one thing extra I do though. Because water can sometimes stay a while in the bottles, I cover the cut off top with screen and a zip tie. That way mosquitoes do not have a breeding area. I can then add water with fertilizer and it gets to the roots.

Comments about AquaCone® Watering Devices:
These cones make watering easy and efficient, AND we get to re-use two-liter water bottles. We can fertilize our vegies by adding a spoonful of fertilizer to the bottle, and the plants then soak it up gradually over several days. Very handy!

Comments about AquaCone® Watering Devices:
I love them! Watering our many indoor sunroom plants took a lot of time. You often have to wait for the water to absorb into the dry soil. Put one or two of these in your planter and just top em off and they slow feed from 10 to 30 min. Saving us a lot of time and over spilling.
Now that we can water this way, we can cover the top soil with food grade plastic to prevent evaporation thus saving even more water! Did you know that as much as 50% of the water loss comes from evaporation? By covering the top soil with plastic (food grad if for veggies) can reduce this loss greatly? This saves you water, and time watering. Before these spikes it was not practicle to cover my open pots cuz the water would sit on top of the plastic. Now, no problm. Will be ordering a bunch. Next year we will use them in our outdoor garden as well.

Comments about AquaCone® Watering Devices:
I ordered this product for several of my neighbors as well as myself. We all are having difficulty getting the product to fit the soda bottles. Most times the water drains completely within moments. Not easy to use and time consuming. Two liter bottles don't work at all for us.

Comments about AquaCone® Watering Devices:
We thought these would be the answer for weekends away -- but we tried every thing we could think of to get them to work, but they drained immediately or soon after.
