I love using amaryllis all during the winter. I am very surprised that this bulb has not even begun to sprout. I have bought several very cheap from [...] and hardware stores, they are beautifully blooming. Needless to say, I am disappointed.

Received the bulb almost three weeks ago and there is no growth at all. Two other bulbs that were purchased elsewhere approximately six weeks ago are already in bloom. Disappointing to date.

I planted in water and they are coming along
beautifully but the one I planted in soil, I see very little sign of life in. (I have had a lot
