Comments about Amaryllis Collection:
Ordered and started the bulbs in October/early November to give them as Christmas gifts. One was close to ready, it's February now and two have finally started to grow, the other 4 (of 7) finally produced long green leaves and stalks and a few blooms in late January. Saddest I've ever purchased. Lesson--buy local!

Comments about Amaryllis Collection:
My mother collects amaryllis - she even manages to raise them from seed so these are always welcome. Occasionally one of the Gardener's Supply amaryllises takes a little longer to start, but they always come through, and I've been getting them for her for a number of years now.

Comments about Amaryllis Collection:
I appreciated being able to buy all six of the amaryllis bulbs for gift giving, with a bit of a price break. I was not able to use many of them, because frankly, they just didn't look like much. I started them right away, but by Christmas, only three were developing any noticeable growth. The baskets were cheap looking. I gave two to garden lovers who I felt would continue to give them time to grow. I hope the quality of the bulbs will be worth the price that was paId for them. In the future, I think I'll buy the one's that I saw at [...] for [$], with a six inch stem, in a shiny decorative planter.

Comments about Amaryllis Collection:
No growth on 1 Amaryllis (Hermitage)
I expected 100% growth and was surprised when 1 plant out of my 2 orders failed.
I treated them all the same and all the others are hale and hearty. I must be lacking 1 farmer gene!Yes I would recommend this ..with stipulations!
