I liked the design and color (verdigris) of the 16" Amalfi planter. However, I was puzzled at the size of the water reservoir and the filling tube. The reservoir takes up too much space and leaves little room for a mature plant with a well-established root system. The filling tube is too high, and if it weren't for the fact that I potted a fern, the tube would be visible through a lower foliage plant. It's too late to return it; I drilled a drainage hole and potted the fern. Although the fern looks lovely and the planter is attractive, I was disappointed with it and would not buy another. I hope that the fern will grow properly within the shallow growing space.

I love how these planters look, but the reservoir takes up too much space and because no drainage hole is provided, this filled with water when it rained, was difficult to drain, and plant roots rotted. Customer shouldn't need an electric drill to make this pricey planter work properly.

The reservoir took up more than 1/3 of space. Felt it was to big for the container, consider custmizing reservoirs and spouts to get optomize root space/water resevoir ratio. Colors and design of container was beautiful!

I like the natural look of this planter!, only ptroblem is that the planter and mud line are low (what I wanted anyway) but the watering tube is higher and it shows quite a bit.
