Comments about All-Purpose Garden Fabric:
A good row cover gives me a few extra weeks in the garden, and can extend my fall harvest time, too.

Comments about All-Purpose Garden Fabric:
This all purpose garden fabric saved all of my vegetable plants from damage or freezing. Lightweight, easy to handle and doesn't damage plants. Allows sun to penetrate cloth; my tomatoes actually grew while covered. My key lime and the fruit were insulated so well that no damage occurred. All of these plants and citrus were on the north side;this garden fabric is phenomenal...I highly recommend the product!

Comments about All-Purpose Garden Fabric:
We bought the fabric to protect a bed of Joseph's Coat (Alternanthera ficoicea) in our Central Florida landscape. The plant is hardy down only to 34 F and we were facing a severe cold snap. Placed it on a PVC frame over the bed. We had about 10 days of night-time temperatures down to the mid-20s for more than three hours. There was a lot of damage to the foliage, but the plants seem to have survived. Won't know for sure for another six weeks.

I use the row cover in my low tunnel to further protect my winter crops from the cold. It has worked just as I wanted it to and my lettuce, spinach and beets will be an even earlier crop than I had hoped.

Comments about All-Purpose Garden Fabric:
I live in northern California where winter temperatures can drop into the high twenties. At times like this, I need something to cover my plants to protect them from freezing. This is the best product ever! First of all, it's very light weight so it doesn't crush the plant. It provides excellent protection yet the plant can still get light and rain through it. Lastly, it stores like a dream! Just folds up and can be put in a zippered bag that comforters come it so it's ready for the next cold spell!

i used the all purpose garden fabric to cover my hanging baskets of christmas cactus and ground orchids. i lost a lot of these plants two years ago when we had an unexpected unusually cold spell and certainly do not want to repeat the experience ( and the cost of the loss! ). so far, they are looking good - thanks to the cover i have placed to protect them.

It's Nov 30th in the Hudson Valley, Zone 5. This floating row cover insulates well and allows us to pick fresh lettuce and herbs in peak condition. The plants are still putting on new growth at this late date. Excellent season extender.

I use this to cover my fall garden and during the winter I use it
to cover other plants in the yard, to protect them from frost.
It's lightweight, and stores easily when not in use.
