and the red float will display the exact depth of the water in the reservoir. Indicator is red
and is easily seen through the clear plastic.
The higher the red pin, the higher the water level.

I found that it did not fit in the APS 12 kit that I ordered. There was no room for it in the end of the tray - no space has been made for it. I was rather disappointed. Happy that the water level was easy to see anyway. Have had other water gauges from Gardeners that worked well. I would not recommend this one for the APS12 system.
