Bring your garden up to a whole new level! Our 2' x 8' elevated bed is easy to plant, tend and harvest without kneeling or bending. Plus, it offers creative landscaping opportunities. Set up one or more of these rectangular beds around the edge of your patio to add privacy, or arrange several along a perimeter to create a garden "room". Like our other cedar raised beds, the sides are held in place with our sleek and sturdy aluminum corners. Comments about Elevated Cedar Raised Beds:
The design fit well into our backyard decor. The guys had a little trouble putting it together. I think they were doing it upside down. Once they figured it out it was a piece of cake. I have not planted it yet.. It looks like there is plenty of room for my mini veggie garden. My beagles can't get in it to bury their treats!

Comments about Elevated Cedar Raised Beds:
The raised cedar planter is the perfect solution for those who want to grow vegetables but have difficulty getting up and down from the ground. It's easy to assemble and sturdy. It should last for many, many years.
The only thing to be aware of is the false bottom is made of plywood, not cedar. Over time, the plywood will split and rot. I lined the planter with landscape fabric to try to slow this process. Unfortunately, Gardeners does not make a liner for the size planter (2 x 8) that I ordered. You may not care about this, but you should at least be aware.

Extremely easy to put together..have had great comments from my landscaper.

Comments about Elevated Cedar Raised Beds:
This is a great looking product once assembled.
But attention needs to be focused at the factory. The product takes weeks to arrive. Even though the website says "In stock". When putting this together the screws are not good wood screws and are difficult to get in. Plus the holes for the braces do not line up in addition, the boards of the platform do not fit.
But dispite these difficulties. I do like the finished product. If these issues could be fixed for future clients, I would recommend this product.

Comments about Elevated Cedar Raised Beds:
We absolutely love these boxes! We ordered three boxes. We were thrilled to find that a good portion of the boxes are already assembled...can't say that about very many products these days. It comes with about 40 screws (all the same size so that makes it easy) and that's it. We stained the boxes prior to assembling and the wood appears to be great quality and took the stain well. The boxes will also create a wall between the yard and driveway. So glad we ordered them in January. They arrived within a few days. One review said the wait was about 6 weeks so we didn't want to risk that. I see the boxes are not backordered so I am so happy we ordered early. Great purchase!

Comments about Elevated Cedar Raised Beds:
The cedar raised beds are just perfect . We bought 2 - 2x8 and 1 - 4x4 for a small space. They fit perfect look beautiful and most of all are easy on the back . I will be growing beans and peas, beets, carrots, squash, pumpkin, cucumbers. Tomatoes and exotics will be in a hot house. Now the yard could be called an Edible Landscape!! We are hoping to buy more next year then we will have a Garden Tour through a local Gardening Educational Center! I am very excited.
Thank you Gardeners Supply Company for making it easy to grow lots of veggies !!!
