Exclusive | Easy-to-Tend Raised Garden is Handsome and Versatile

Bring your garden up to a whole new level! Our 2' x 8' elevated raised bed is easy to plant, tend and harvest without kneeling or bending. Plus, it offers creative landscaping opportunities. Set up one or more of these rectangular elevated beds around the edge of your patio to add privacy, or arrange several along a perimeter to create a garden "room". Like our other cedar raised beds, the sides are held in place with our sleek and sturdy aluminum corners. There's a false floor made from marine-grade plywood set 10" down from the top so there's plenty of root space for vegetables and flowers. Floor has holes for drainage; vents in the sides allow air to circulate and excess moisture to evaporate.

  • Cedar with aluminum corners and marine-grade plywood
  • 24" W x 96" L x 29" H
  • 2' x 8' Bed holds approx. 13 cubic feet (329 dry quarts) of container mix

Comments about Elevated Cedar Raised Beds:

This spring will be my third year with my raised garden and I love it just as much as when I first got it. It still looks great after two WI winters. (I wanted to wait to write my review just to make sure it would hold up.) It was easy to assemble while following the directions, but it is helpful to have a second person's help. Not having to bend over to pull weeds is wonderful! Thanks so much for selling such a well-made product. I'm strongly considering buying an additional one for this year.

Comments about Elevated Cedar Raised Beds:

I finally (waited a year while we settled in our new house) bought this raised cedar bed to create a small veggie garden that will be easier on my aging back. I bought it in Feb and didn't want to unpack it because our storage space is very tight - the two big flat boxes are pushed under our vintage car until spring. The boxes weigh a ton which speaks well of the quality/thickness of the cedar within.
I contacted Gardener's Supply and they said their return policy was good in full anytime within the 1st year!! (It actually goes beyond a year at a reduced value.) Kind people who stand behind their products. I can't wait til spring arrives and I get to unpack my new garden!

Comments about Elevated Cedar Raised Beds:

I experimented last year with my first elevated garden bed: 2 Sungold tomatoes, 2 cucumbers, 4 different lettuces, kale, carrots, radishes, bok choy, scallions, 1 green bean climber and trailing phlox at the corners. I reseeded lettuces as needed. It all seemed to work out so well I ordered a second one for next year. For whatever reason, this apparent crowding didn't harm the plants.

The quality seemed good although it's just going through its first year. It seemed well-made during construction. Construction was fairly easy but it did take two people--the pieces are heavy. I used potting soil, a little real dirt and a lot of composted leaves. I added more composted leaves throughout the summer. It takes a lot of watering which I like to do, especially when I was so close to the plants.

The really neat surprise was its use as a patio bird feeder. I have several bird feeders and heated bath within a few feet of the garden so it's a natural extension of the winter feeding program of black, oil sunflower seeds. I have cardinals, blue jays, juncos, chickadees and finches as regulars on the garden but occasionally the 3 different kinds of woodpeckers, mourning doves and nuthatches will try it out. They ALL seem to like the higher than ground, open restaurant.

I have 7 other low, raised beds and a 10' x 15' in-ground garden for veggies but I think this is a real winner. I could trade them all in for elevated beds. Working in the elevated bed is such a pleasure for anyone with back pain and that thing called The Aging Body! No shoveling, hoeing, raking--all gardening can be done with a trowel and fork.

I liked this so much that I have recommended it and that person ordered it.

Comments about Elevated Cedar Raised Beds:

I bought one of the raised garden beds in May to plant a vegetable garden. It worked perfectly. I have a small yard with poor soil (sandy) so this bed allows me to use a soil perfect for growing veggies.

If you are thinking about purchasing one of these beds I would highly recommend buying in the next couple of months. Once the warmer weather arrives they are usually backordered since they are so popular. It took me 6 or 7 weeks to get my first one but when I ordered this one in November I got it in two weeks.

Comments about Elevated Cedar Raised Beds:

I am very happy with my garden bed. It arrived so late last year I couldn't use it, but have lots planted in it this year, and couldn't be happier. The 2'x8' raised bed is very heavy, and I couldn't build that one myself. I am ordering the 4'x4' raised cedar bed this year, for use next spring.
I also have the self-watering standing garden on my deck, and it is really nice. I am a 66yr old woman, and I assembled this one myself.
