Exclusive | All-In-One Rain Barrel Holds 75 Gallons

  • A stylish way to collect free (and chlorine-free) rainwater for your gardens
  • Appealing shape and faux sandstone finish
  • Help conserve water, a precious natural resource

The appealingly simple shape of this rain barrel conceals a number of smart features. In addition to a brass tap for filling a watering can, there’s a threaded fitting in the bottom for attaching a garden hose. The childproof top has a non-corroding screen to catch leaves and other debris. The overflow spout can be connected to a second rain barrel, and the decorative feet make it extremely stable. Plus the style, resembling a stoneware olive jar, is a pleasing alternative to whiskey-style barrels. Made of durable polyethylene.

  • UV-stable polyethylene
  • 22" in diameter x 45" H
  • Holds 75 gallons
  • Protect from freezing temperatures
  • Gardener's Supply Exclusive

      Comments about 75-Gallon Rain Barrel:

Appears well built with no leaks. We'll see if the screened top prevents mosquitoes from breeding--if not, I'll add some finer mesh, but that should be easy. I have our downspouts redirected to two of these barrels off our our detached garage. After raining 1/5 of an inch both were full! I elevated both of them off the ground a little bit so the spigots can drain directly into watering cans. We'll see how long they go. I'm thinking of getting the connecting system to double the capacity and take advantage of our spring rains.

        Comments about 75-Gallon Rain Barrel:

By adding a y hose connector to the hose attachment fitting at the bottom of the barrel, excess water can be stored in a separate container for use in a watering can while other water can travel through its diverter hose to a soaker hose in nearby garden bed. Such an intelligent rain barrel.

I love the legs on the barrel because I can slip my watering can under it for filling. It does take a few minutes to fill up but I usually am pulling some weeds while I wait. Very attractive.

            Comments about 75-Gallon Rain Barrel:

This was used at a school to collect water and prevent a wash-out that kept occurring in a garden bed. It is a nice large size, but could be better quality for the price. The overflow valve cannot accomodate a hose; there are no threads, it appears designed to connect to plastic tubing of some size or another--a little disappointing. I really like the large top grate though, many others ae designed for a downspout, this one can freely collect run-off.

I attached a garden hose to overflow with a simple pvc fitting, waters a tree whenever it overflows at a trickle. I live in the southwest and use this pot to catch the overflow from our evaporative coolers, a wonderful way to conserve water in an attractive vessel.

We just set the rain barrel up and living in Southern CA have not gotten rain but the "faucet" seems tight and construction is sturdy. The rain barrel is easy to use in terms of getting water out to water plants.

The rain barrel is sturdy and all the extras...the spigot, run off, drain connections are leak-free and well made and in all the right places. We use to supplement watering our gardens by letting the water it collects soak in certain areas each time it is full. We also were grateful to use water to flush toilets during electric outage during Hurricane Irene! Also we ordered the barrel over the internet [...]....amazing.

I love the fact that it makes it possible for me to have water at my potting bench in my garage! My husband recycled a counter with a small sink in it & now I can water my freshly potted plants with tepid water & rinse my hands before I go into the house!
