Comments about Catch-Can with Bait:
What a quick, easy way to rid your yard of Japanese Beetles. The beetles were especially bad this year and I was getting frantic trying to save my roses. I purchases the beetle trap and post along with extra bait. Set the whole thing up in the back yard and we were getting over a cup full a day of beetles in the trap! I was so pleased to think of all the beetles we were getting rid of with the one trap I got another one for the front yard. For a while we were getting two cups full of beetles a day! The beetles are pretty well gone for this year but you can bet I'll have my beetle traps out next year. There are a lot of beetles that won't be laying eggs in my yard, thanks to the beetle traps.

Comments about Catch-Can with Bait:
Atracts these nasty beetles by the hundreds--during the height of the season--a container-full per day. Unfortunately, we're still skeletonized by them. Next year we'll use more traps PLUS poison for the grubs.....a vile import!

Comments about Catch-Can with Bait:
Not certain if we bought the wrong trap. We (San Diego area) don't have same June beetles as in the Midwest. Our beetles are Green June beetles and must not use the same pheromone that is in the bate for June beetle, as the beetles have been flying around and not one caught in the two traps. Can tell us if that why there are no beetles in the traps?

Comments about Catch-Can with Bait:
After buying many, many plastic bags, I decided to try this product. The japanese beetles were horrible this year and I was hosting my daughter's wedding in my back yard. I would get flowers in the ground, come back and they would be eaten up by these little beetles from you know where. I splurged and bought this product. In the first week - it filled up and they could NOT escape. No tearing, no holes. I ended up buying 3 more for my yard!

Comments about Catch-Can with Bait:
I use this product to reduce the jap beetle infestation each summer. Although you can get these with "plastic" bags, I find that the "cans" are essy to clean. I hace a covered bucket that I keep kerosene in.... I empty the bugs into the can and it kills any of the bettles that may have managed to survived.
