        Slow shipping!

Raised bed was gift for Mother's Day. Was ordered on 4/10/13 and was shown as in stock. Mother's day was on 5/12/13 and was not delivered until 5/22/13. Had to visit empty handed! My next chance to visit and assemble product will be after planting season. Purchase was a bust!

        Difficult to assemble

        Pros

        • Good Wood Good Height

        Cons

        • Difficult to assemble
        • Need 10 Inch Screwdriver
        • Need Mallet
        • Screw Holes Don't Match

        Best Uses

The wood & height are perfect for a tall raised bed but assembly is difficult. So far, we have had to buy a long screwdriver (available ONLY at auto supply stores) and screws. It takes two people because the screw holes don't line up so one person has to force-hold the pieces while another uses a rubber mallet to get the holes lined up. The wood screws don't go all the way through the 2 holes so don't hold the two pieces well. Why wood screws for metal pieces?

Very attractive raised gardening bed that is deep enough to support tall plants and wide enough that you can fill it with several varieties of vegetables. I did not buy the additional screen/greenhouse canopy but plan to add my own. It is constructed from cedar which should last in the weather for a number of years. I am very pleased with this product and anxious for warmer weather so I can start planting!

I had been downsizing my garden over the last few years, as it has been harder to bend and crawl on the ground. These have allowed me to have all the garden I want with no bending or crawling required. They were easy to assemble. My 15 year old grandson and I put 4 together in a few hours. They are easy to plant in, maintain and harvest from. I treated them with Thompson wood sealer, to help preserve the pretty cedar wood color. They really look nice.
