“These self-watering windowboxes were a great find. We go back and forth between our two houses all summer long, and these window boxes keep our plants from drying out between visits.”

Comments about 39" Self-Watering Windowbox:
We purchased two of the window boxes last spring and were very happy with their look as well as how they evenly watered the plants, sometimes up to 5 or more days before needing refll, even in the hot summer months. This latest purchase is for our family member who was impressed with ours. We know she'll enjoy the ease of maintaining her window box.

Comments about 39" Self-Watering Windowbox:
Very attractive. Better looking than the window boxes that I had installed. Also eliminates the extra watering that I sometimes miss, especially during the summer months in Florida.

Strawberries are an unconventional use, but this works perfectly. Each box takes four plants and you could probably interplant with something, but the Strawberry plants are beautiful on their own.

Comments about 39" Self-Watering Windowbox:
It seemed that the dry air and hot sun dried my plants here in Denver as soon as I watered my balcony herb garden. Finally this is a good solution, and really is effective. The level guage lets me know when it needs water and allows a constant moisture content for the soil.

we have had one of these planters under our garage window for years, so it was a no brainer to use them along a dock--really like the overflow feature-- a welcome improvement --they look great as well

Comments about 39" Self-Watering Windowbox:
We bought four 39" window boxes about 6 years ago for the front porch of our traditional house in AL. We're now using them on our new Craftsman style house in TN and are getting ready to order two more. They've held up so well, do exactly what they're supposed to do and look great. I add some water soluble fertilizer into the watering hole every few weeks so they get fed and watered at the same time. Great product.

Comments about 39" Self-Watering Windowbox:
I am very pleased with the self-watering window boxes I ordered. I live in Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweeping down from everywhere, and keeping containers evenly moist is almost impossible. The results I had with these boxes were better than expected. The flowers grew like they were on steroids. Our summer has been horribly hot this year and as long as I kept the reservoirs full, the plants didn't even seem to notice.

Awesome look to windows and only needs water twice a week in hot dry weather in the Northeast! Very easy to assemble, easy to fill. Make sure that boxes are level though when installing. Costs 80% less than those advertised by Plow and Hearth!

Finally a window box that works without me having to sprinkle my southern facing deck. I will be adding more window boxes next year.

Comments about 39" Self-Watering Windowbox:
Even when I completely fill up the water receptacle, the floating red indicator doesn't stay up top, so I am not sure how much water should go in, and how often to add water to the window boxes.
