Comments about 39" Self-Watering Windowbox:
I have had one of these planter boxes for several years on my deck. It looks great with a mix of perennials and annuals. The water reservoir keeps the plants happy during the summer with watering every 4 days instead of twice a day for my pots without reservoirs. I like this one so much I just bought a second one to install as a window box planter.

Comments about 39" Self-Watering Windowbox:
Finally, I think I may have found a window box that truly does decrease the need for constant watering and care. I love the look of my Hayrack planters, however, I find that they need constant watering. My new window box ,so far, has only needed water added once a week. If it holds up as well as I think it will, this is a winner.

Comments about 39" Self-Watering Windowbox:
I know a product is good when a reviewer recommends it after a year or so of ownership. I purchased two of these window boxes two years ago, and I just purchased two more. Simply fill the reservoir every few days. Finally, beautiful window boxes without losing your whole flower investment just because you went away for the weekend. The center supports are awesome, no bowing whatsoever. I ordered Bronze and I cannot tell the difference between the new ones and the old ones that have been in the elements for two years--both sets look new.

Comments about 39" Self-Watering Windowbox:
This really is a great product. It took my husband a little bit of time to secure it to my deck railing but worth the time. The holding capacity for water in the bottom trough is very generous - I don't need to fill it for over a week and it keeps my flowers growing beautifully.

Comments about 39" Self-Watering Windowbox:
I have 6 of them for 3 yrs. Flowers love them. Much less frequent watering required. South facing window can go 3 days with no watering. They say to empty the dirt and remove the boxes for the winter, but that is a hassle. I have not done it. However one did crack last winter because the tank still had water in it. More durable vinyl would be better. But overall a good value.

Comments about 39" Self-Watering Windowbox:
I use 3 of these window boxes at my vacation rental where they stay well hydrated for up to a week! The reservoir does a great job of this. I love the "dip stick" that shows I have added enough water. I have had these window boxes since 2006 and they are well made and extremely durable.

Comments about 39" Self-Watering Windowbox:
We bought this to use as a window box. My husband, normally handy, found this a nightmare to assemble and hang and had to use his own screws because the ones provided were so flimsy. I would not buy this again!

Comments about 39" Self-Watering Windowbox:
We formerly had wood window boxes and took them off when remodeling. It helps break up wall space between the foundation and windows. Much more attractive.
