intended to plant some miniature day lilies in them, but they don't appear to be capable of taking more than two or three which is disgust9g for the price. Further the watering funnels dod not fit the hole in the base, flopping all over the place, and falling apart when water was poured into them.
Whatever happened to that larger trough which had a small port that youmpit water into the bottom of the trough....? That was a good one, and it has held plants well for some time.

Other reviews complained about the fill tube and missing parts. Mine was complete and easy to assemble. I have just a patio, and there are a few areas remaining where sunlight hits, but larger planters won't fit. So now I can use every bit of space.

This makes sixteen self-watering containers I own. Most of mine are large. I spent hours online looking for containers for a specific location. Finally, I really dug into your site and found these, my favorite brand, on sale. They are durable, attractive, a usable size, and they stack for winter storage. I am growing radishes at the moment, and will follow that crop with flowers.

Beautiful, bountiful planters depend on good soil, fertilizer and careful watering. But to take your planters from standard to sensational, you need the right plants. Start with this simple rule: Combine plants with three different habits. In other words, thrillers, fillers and spillers.
