    Comments about 3-Bin Wire Composter:

I put my shredded plant material with water into one bin. After two days I move the material to a second bin adding water as needed; two days later it goes back to the first bin. After 3 or 4 weeks I have usable compost that gets stored in the third bin for use in the garden. The bins are very light and easy to arrange. It is a bit of a hassle to open one side for easier movement of material, but that isn't always necessary.

    Comments about 3-Bin Wire Composter:

I got this wire composter specifically to collect fall leaves and it does that wonderfully. It looks great against my fence, and obviously looks much better than the pile of leaves I had there previously. It is bigger than I thought. All the leaves in our yard only took up 1 bin. We have three big maple trees and a huge oak tree. We did chop the leaves up before storing. I use these shreded leaves as mulch and soil amendment in my garden, so I am glad to find this wire composter bin.

Another great thing about it is that it keeps all the leaves in there even with strong wind.

I wouldn't recommend using this wire composter for other materials, especially big branches. I have separate composters for my other kitchen and yard waste so I don't use this for those purposes. It is a little flimsy so I don't think it would serve as well as other composters. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

I am very happy to have it to store ALL my fall leaves.

        Comments about 3-Bin Wire Composter:

The final portion of the assembly was difficult when attaching the middle bin to the other two -- the little clamps were difficult to attach. Once together, however, it is exactly what I had planned.

          Comments about 3-Bin Wire Composter:

I bought this to use with my yard waste (leaves, clippings, weeds); I have a separate composter I use for food waste.
This was not the easiest to assemble, especially the last two metal pieces to create the third bin. I suggest using a screwdriver or other tool to get the plastic clips on for the last two metal pieces.
Several of the clips were defective or broke during assembly but there were extras in the bag.
The three bin model holds a lot. The bins have an open design so there will be some items that slip through the bars.

This helped me to organize and contain my compost, which was in huge piles. I like that I can separate compost that is raw from that which has been "cooking" for a while.

I am a beginner, so I've only put together one bin and am still learning how to use it. I decided there had to be a better way to deal with yard debris when we hauled ninety-two 45 gallon bags to the dump last fall!

                  Comments about 3-Bin Wire Composter:

I am mostly satisfied with the bins and setting them up. However, I found the clips very hard to use, and I felt they might not be very sturdy. I had the impression that the clips could easily be undone to access the inside of the bin which I don't now believe to be true. I didn't want to try to open a clip for fear I would break it. I am using twist ties to hold one side of the bin together so that I can get into the bin when I want to empty it.
