The three bins can also be used to separate compost: one to collect yard and kitchen waste, one for cooking compost, and one for finished compost.

  • 84-3/4" L x 28-1/4" W x 35-1/2" H, holds 48 cubic feet (306 dry gallons)

  • Bin frame pieces are 4-gauge, mesh panels are 11-gauge
  • Plastic clips wrap around the wire frame to hold the panels together securely
  • Easy assembly

        Comments about 3-Bin Wire Composter:

I am mostly satisfied with the bins and setting them up. However, I found the clips very hard to use, and I felt they might not be very sturdy. I had the impression that the clips could easily be undone to access the inside of the bin which I don't now believe to be true. I didn't want to try to open a clip for fear I would break it. I am using twist ties to hold one side of the bin together so that I can get into the bin when I want to empty it.

          Comments about 3-Bin Wire Composter:

I have 2 now and have 3' between them and move newer material on top to empty side and then pick up bin, move and have a pile of compost easy to access. I let kitchen scraps decompose some in a 5 gallon bucket and add wood chips when I add it to pile.

The plastic clips securing the sides broke on installation. I called and was sent some more. Same finally used wire. They are full of leaves etc. and I am waiting for summer to view the results.

            Comments about 3-Bin Wire Composter:

I would have loved this product, but I've still not gotten it totally together. I have two big blood blisters from trying to work with the clips. Clips are brittle and in this cold climate, they have to be soaked in hot water to get them over the posts. Then they sometime break. The first two squares aren't too bad, but the two middle sections are impossible. I think it will be great for all my leaves though, but please include the stakes. With better clips it would be super.

Great improvement over what I was using. the clips holding it were hard for me to attach. However I am over 70 and have some arthritis. It is half full already and I can't wait to go out and collect some more leaves.
              Thank you

I was so pleased with the first one I ordered that I ordered a scond one. I had read some negative comments about the clips, but using a screw driver & pliers, had no trouble at all,(and I'm in my seventies with arthritic hands).
