Birch sleeve is attractive, but does not allow the light to shine out of the top as it sits low in the sleeve. Would like the sleeves to have more texture.

I ordered 2 sets of these sleeves and cannot get the stryofoam out for the life of me. I had to cut it into quarters with a steak knife and then push it out through the bottom, now my entire kitchen is covered in styrofoam beads. I'm hoping the second set is easier to get out (I gave up after the first set was so difficult) but I doubt it.
Also, I don't see the LED pillar candles available on the website anymore so I'm going on a hunt this weekend to see if I can find any that fit. I may buy 2" wide candles after some other reviews stated that that 3" pillars did not fit into the sleeves well.

I know that there is no guarantee on what they will look like but the ones I received are downright ugly. One of them was peeling away from the cylinder.

I bought these thinking they were actuall candles. My fault for not paying attention to the write up. But still liked the look. Problem was that I couldn't find LED candles to fit the sleeves. I ended up returning all of them.

Although they are very fragile the unique beauty makes them worth the effort to handle with care. Lovely as Christmas decoration and White Birch makes very attractive wedding decorations.

Hmmm...I don't remember the product information saying that you can only use these birch sleeves with battery powered LED candles. They are extremely thin, and you cannot use them with real candles, which limits their use. You will need to also buy the LED candles, which significantly increases the cost.

I ordered many (6) different sets of pillars. It took some time to get the styrofoam out of some of them. I used the styrofoam in the bottom of some of the taller pillars, and was able to achieve the same height for all my flameless candles. I only had one pillar that wasn't big enough to fit my candle. It was a little misshaped. I wet it, and put it in a vise-that helped. Everyone loved their gifts!

I didnot read the ad close enough- thought they included the LED candle. Now find the candle is no longer available. Not worth theshipping cost to send back. Tricky.

I put these over previously purchased led candles and placed them in large glass and brass jars in my bathroom and they look great. They fit the candles perfectly and were easy to assemble. The birch sleeves went on easily and I had no problem removing the styrofoam inserts. Glad I made the purchase.
