These durable markers are neat-looking, last for years, and really stay put. Standard Markers have galvanized wire legs and etched-zinc nameplates for recording variety names, sources and planting dates. The marking pen is a great companion for any zinc-plated or steel plant marker. The fiber tip is better than the felt tip found on other markers because it won't "mush-up" with use.

Comments about 25 Standard Markers with Pen:
This set is great to get you started tagging all the new flowers and vegetables you plant. I especially like the shape and size, and if your handwriting is good, they are really also sweet and attractive to the eye. I did not check off whether they are durable because I just started using them about a month ago. I did have to order another set of markers, because once you start using them, you can't stop! I also love that they mark where your bulbs are so you won't mistakenly plant something else there while they are still underground. They really add charm to a country garden, and I recommend them especially if you have a garden big enough to forget where everything is.

Comments about 25 Standard Markers with Pen:
I added these to all my new planting areas and to established areas as well. The stakes are sturdy and look good in among the plants and flowers. The ink stays put and doesn't fade or smudge in the rain. The only thing to be cautious of is your own handwriting!

Comments about 25 Standard Markers with Pen:
I was using the plastic picks provided by the greenhouses to mark my veggies but didn't like the look of them. I purchased the etched zinc markers and now my garden looks more organized and prettier. I can also use them for years to come.

Other tags get lost once plants get growing. With these, I can still see what variety of tomato or pepper I planted!

Comments about 25 Standard Markers with Pen:
We use the markers to identify native landscape plantings and other plantings such as herbs for visitors to our home as they walk through the areas. I have found, however, that the pen that is sold with the markers (the ink, that is) does not hold up well in our Texas summer heat and it fades out - I get better results using the Sharpie Permanent Marker. But, Hey, that's a Texas Summer for you - the pen may work just fine elsewhere. Otherwise, The markers are great. I am still using some that I bought from you all two or three years ago.
