For raised beds that won't bow out at the sides, use 4-foot planks and anchor them with our reinforcing In-Line Connectors, which come in sets of two. Use with standard lumber. For corners, use Raised Bed Corners; for angles and curves, use our Pivoting Connectors.

So great that my Daughter asked for another set--one Christmas gift done.

Comments about In-Line Connectors:
I used a combination of 2 levels of 8" connectors and corners, plus the stakes to secure them together, to make a nice looking 12ft x 3ft raised garden.
These are on the expensive side for what I wanted, but they look really nice. You can save some cash by using pine or fir for the boards and throwing on a nice looking sealant.

Comments about In-Line Connectors:
My soil is poor so I decided to use a raised bed with better soil for veggies. The garden is growing well. However, I decided to increase it in size about a month after the original installation of the connectors. Unfortunately, the screws were rusted and that made it difficult to remove the screws. For the price it would be helpful to have rust resistant screws.

Comments about In-Line Connectors:
The connector is well made and fits a standard 2 x 8 exactly. Also, on the center slot the conector is only drilled on one side. There should be two more holes drilled offset on the other side to allow 2 more screws to be installed.

Comments about In-Line Connectors:
I built a 7 cell U-shaped raised bed and these connectors installed easily.
A suggestion - make a 4 way corner connector - because the inside corners of the U were tricky. I stacked and reversed 2 6" corners to do this.

Comments about In-Line Connectors:
I got this for my veggie garden and I love it! The only downfall to it is, I decided to go with composite decking material so it would last a long time and no maintenance required. And they don't follow the same sizes as traditional lumber. So we used stacked washers to fill in the gap. Worked like a charm and we now have our garden!

Comments about In-Line Connectors:
Created two 6'x12' (12" high) raised beds using composite lumber (decking trim in 12"x12' size cut to order). DH appreciated the pre-drilled holes in the connectors b/c we were shocked at how heavy the connectors and corners were, especially since they're supposed to be aluminum. (Hopefully this means they'll last as advertised). One downfall was the slots for boards are uniformly 2 inches wide and by using composite wood, we had to cut 1" shims (6 inches long) to fill in the gap. Once done, we slid shim and composite together through the slots and drilled them into place. So far, so VERY good. Definately can hold 6' long board but don't go much longer or you'll get bowing. Best corners & connectors on the market.

I used the 12 inch connectors. It is much easier on my back not to have to bend all the way to the ground.

Used with pre-cut lumber. Building the raised beds was a breeze
